Multipurpose Squid
One night, I set out to crochet a mouse cat toy. After about 30
minutes, I succumbed to the notion that it didn't want to be a mouse
cat toy. Instead, it became the finger puppet/cat toy of murky, watery,
scary, doomy...doom.
The bottom of it has an opening so you can
use it as a finger puppet, stuff it with a catnip bag and give it to
your cat for the raddest cat toy ever, or make it consume its prey
after it wins a battle. Like it did in a bloody battle with a Lego man
and his horse.
It measures 5" from top of head to bottom of its
arms. The two feeding tentacles with clubs measure an additional 1.5".
He is crocheted from 100% acrylic yarn and has two glowing, evil red
eyes made from a cut up H&M dress tag backed with felt. The pupil
is made from a nontoxic fabric paint.
